Seeking opportunity, Marcus moved to Houston from the Texas Panhandle because he wanted to work at a refinery. The Navy veteran thought he was doing well because his boss gave him more to do, but then the plant hit a rough patch and he was laid off.

Marcus landed at the Salvation Army and got a job at a thrift store. We met him after his case manager at the Salvation Army suggested he ask Freewheels Houston for a bike. With his positive attitude, Marcus will be back on track soon.
